The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
