▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
