All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 yet still abides the Face of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 27 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 28 Everyone in the heavens and on the earth entreats Him. Every day He manifests Himself in a new state. 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 38 Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn. 39 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 40 The culprits shall be known by their marks, and shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 42 This is Hell the sinners called a lie. 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 45
