The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 And what will make you know what the comer by night is? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 not a flippant jest. 14 They are devising guile, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
