The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
