Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
