Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
