Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
