Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 Their brother Lot asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 164 What! Of all creatures do ye come unto the males, 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 [And then he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!" 169 So We delivered him and his people all together, 170 except an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Then We destroyed the rest of them, 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 174 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
