Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum will indeed be 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
