Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
