The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
