[But as for you, O believers,] never shall you attain to true piety unless you spend on others out of what you cherish yourselves; and whatever you spend - verily, God has full knowledge thereof. 92 ۞ All food was lawful for the Descendants of Israel (Jacob), except what Israel forbade for himself, before the Taurat (Torah) was sent down; say, “Bring the Taurat and read it, if you are truthful.” 93 Then after that, whosoever shall invent a lie against Allah,
such shall indeed be the Zalimun (disbelievers). 94 Say, "Allah has told the truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists." 95 Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance for the nations. 96 In it there are clear signs and the station of Abraham; whoever enters it becomes secure. Pilgrimage to the House is a duty owed to Allah by all who can make their way to it. As for those who refuse to follow His command, surely Allah does not stand in need of anything. 97 Say, "People of the Book, why do you reject God's revelations when God is witness to all that you do?" 98 Say, "People of the Book, why do you turn the believers away from the path of God, seeking to make it crooked, while you are witnesses thereof? God is not unaware of what you do." 99 O People who Believe! If you obey some of People given the Book(s), they will definitely turn you into disbelievers after your having accepted faith. 100 How could you turn back to disbelief when the words of God are recited to you and you have in your midst His Messenger? Those who seek the protection of God will certainly be guided to the right path. 101
