The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 I am for you an honest Messenger. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
