Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 Grateful for His favours: He chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. 122 We sent you, (Muhammad), a revelation that you should follow the tradition of Abraham, the upright one, who was not a pagan. 123 As for the Sabbath, it was made incumbent only on those who differed about its laws. Certainly your Lord will judge on the Day of Resurrection between them regarding the matters they disputed. 124 Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. 125 If you want to retaliate, retaliate to the same degree as the injury done to you. But if you are patient, it is better to be so. 126 Endure thou patiently (O Muhammad). Thine endurance is only by (the help of) Allah. Grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise. 127 God is verily with those who are pious and devout, and those who are doers of good. 128
