O people! a parable is set forth, therefore listen to it: surely those whom you call upon besides Allah cannot create fly, though they should all gather for it, and should the fly snatch away anything from them, they could not take it back from it; weak are the invoker and the invoked. 73 No just estimate have they made of Allah: for Allah is He Who is strong and able to Carry out His Will. 74 God chooses of the angels Messengers and of mankind; surely God is All-hearing, All-seeing. 75 He knows what is before them and what is behind them: and to Allah go back all questions (for decision). 76 O ye who believe! Bow down and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord, and do good, that haply ye may prosper. ۩ 77 And strive hard for Allah as is due unto Him hard striving. He hath distinguished you, and hath not placed upon you any narrowness in the religion: the faith of your father Ibrahim. He hath named you Muslim aforetime and in this, that the apostle may be a witness for you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. Wherefore establish the prayer and give the poor-rate, and hold fast by Allah; He is your Patron: an Excellent Patron and Excellent helper! 78
