Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Verily along with every hardship is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
