EXHORT, then, [O Prophet, all men:] for, by thy Sustainer's grace, thou art neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" 30 Say thou: "Wait, [then,] hopefully; behold, I, too, shall hopefully wait with you!" 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe. 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is almost within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 If they should see a segment falling from the sky, they would say: "It is only a massive cloud." 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),- 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
