Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
