Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
