Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
