And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
