The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
