Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
