Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
