Believers, let your possessions and your offspring not make you negligent of Allah's remembrance. For whoso does that, they will be the losers. 9 And expend of that wherewith We have provided you afore death cometh unto one of you, and he saith: 'my Lord! wouldst Thou not defer me for a short term, so that I would give alms and become of the righteous. 10 God will never grant respite to any soul when its appointed time has come.
