The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
