The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
