And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 So surely you and what you worship, 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 we are they that give glory. 166 They say, 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 and peace be upon the Messengers, 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
