And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 When he said unto his father and his folk: What worship ye? 70 They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. 71 'Do they hear you when you call on them' He asked. 72 or can they benefit or harm you?" 73 They said: nay; but we found our fathers doing in this wise. 74 He said, 'And have you considered what you have been serving, 75 you and your forefathers of yore? 76 "Now [as for me, I know that,] verily, these [false deities] are my enemies, [and that none is my helper] save the Sustainer of all the worlds, 77 "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink. 79 and, whenever I am sick, heals me, 80 He who will cause me to die and bring me back to life; 81 "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment. 82 My Lord, bestow wisdom upon me; unite me with the righteous; 83 And appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the latter. 84 and place me among those who shall inherit the garden of bliss! 85 And forgive my father. Lo! he is of those who err. 86 And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected - 87 The day on which property will not avail, nor sons 88 and when he alone will be saved who comes to God with a sound heart." 89 And the Garden shall be brought nigh to the God-fearing. 90 and Hell advanced for the perverse. 91 And it shall be said unto them where is that which ye were wont to worship? 92 instead of God? Can these [things and beings] be of any help to you or to themselves?" 93 Thereupon they will be hurled into hell - they, as well as all [others] who had been lost in grievous error, 94 and the hosts of Iblis, all together. 95 They will say while they dispute therein, 96 "By God, we were plainly in error 97 when we assigned to you a position equal to that of the Lord of the Universe. 98 It was naught but the sinners that led us astray; 99 We have no one to intercede for us before God 100 no loyal friend. 101 Were there for us a return, we would be of the believers. 102 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 103 Surely, Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
