▼ 68 The Pen
Al-Qalam 2 of 2
The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 Shall We equate the Muslims to the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you? How could you judge this to be so? 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 that (in the Hereafter) you shall have all that you choose for yourselves? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or have they associates if they are truthful. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished. 43 Let Me alone with him who belieth this discourse; step by step We lead them on when they perceive not. 44 And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm. 45 Or are you asking them for some compensation so that they feel burdened with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. 49 His Lord therefore chose him and made him among those deserving His proximity. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
