Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Noble and recording; 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
