Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say: "No one can save me from God, nor can I find a place of refuge apart from Him, 22 "Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever." 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 He alone has knowledge of what is hidden. He reveals this to none, 26 Except to His chosen Noble Messengers – so He appoints guards in front and behind him. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 27 That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things. 28
