And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Who have made the Quran into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other). 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 About their deeds. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
