O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ Now; if the hypocrites do not give over, and those in whose hearts there is sickness and they that make commotion in the city, We shall assuredly urge thee against them and then they will be thy neighbours there only a little; 60 Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter. 61 God's wont with those who passed away before; and thou shall find no changing the wont of God. 62 People ask thee ccncerning the Hour. Say thou: the knowledge thereof is only with Allah: and what knowest thou! belike the Hour is nigh. 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper. 65 Upon the day when their faces are turned about in the Fire they shall say, 'Ah, would we had obeyed God and the Messenger! 66 They will say: "O our Lord, we obeyed our leaders and the elders, but they only led us astray. 67 Lord, make them to suffer double torment and subject them to the greatest condemnation." 68
