Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 Some faces that Day shall be downcast with fear, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 Yet, going into the blazing fire. 4 and will be made to drink from a fiercely boiling spring. 5 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. 6 Which shall neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 Some faces on that Day will be radiant, 8 Rejoicing over their efforts. 9 In a lofty garden, 10 Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 In which are high thrones. 13 And chosen goblets. 14 and arranged cushions 15 and well spread carpets. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And at the Sky, how it is raised high?- 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 You do not have full control over them. 22 But whoever turns back and denies the truth, 23 Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, 24 Truly, to Us is their return; 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
