The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 This is The Book free of doubt and involution, a guidance for those who preserve themselves from evil and follow the straight path, 2 Who believe in the Unseen, and establish prayer, and out of that wherewith We have provided them expend. 3 who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 Those who deny your message will not believe whether you warn them or not 6 God has sealed their hearts and hearing and their vision is veiled; a great punishment awaits them. 7
