The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
