۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
