Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 high above? 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
