۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
