1/2 Hizb 54

۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
