The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
