Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) 1 And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? 2 (Worship) on the Night of Destiny is better than (worship) for a thousand months. 3 In it descend the angels and Jibreel, by the command of their Lord – for all works. 4 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
