The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
