The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He sends the angels with the Spirit to carry His orders to whichever of His servants He wants so that they would warn people that He is the only God and that people must have fear of Him. 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for a genuine purpose. He is too Exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 3 He created the human being from a drop of fluid but the human being openly disputes His Word. 4 He created the cattle. They are a source of clothing and food and also a variety of other benefits for you. 5 There is life and cheer for you as you drive them home in the evening, and lead them out in the morning to graze. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful, 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
