Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
