The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 by the Promised Day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
