So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
