the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He has no consort? He created everything and is aware of everything! 101 This is God, your Lord, there is no God but Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him; He is the guardian of all things. 102 No vision can grasp Him, but He takes in over all vision; He is the Subtle and Aware One. 103 Means of insight have now come unto you from your Sustainer [through this divine writ]. Whoever, therefore, chooses to see, does so for his own good; and whoever chooses to remain blind, does so to his own hurt. And [say unto the blind of heart]: "I am not your keeper." 104 And thus do We give many facets to Our messages. And to the end that they might say: "Thou hast taken [all this] well to heart," and that We might make it clear unto people of [innate] knowledge, 105 follow thou what has been revealed unto thee by thy Sustainer - save whom there is no deity - and turn thy back upon all who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him. 106 Had Allah so willed they would not have associated others with Him in His divinity; and We have not appointed you a watcher over them, and you are not their guardian. 107 Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did. 108 And they swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if there came to them a sign, they would surely believe therein. Say: "Signs are but with Allah and what will make you (Muslims) perceive that (even) if it (the sign) came, they will not believe?" 109 We will turn away their hearts and eyes from the Truth, since they refused to believe in it in the first instance. We will let them wander blindly in their insolence. 110
